“My creations aim to reflect natural beauty, femininity, and dreamlike wonder through oil paint, blown glass, and charcoal. My work is often inspired during a walk in the woods or a deep breath at the shore. These natural places bring me serenity and strength, and my work aims to mimic and celebrate their rejuvenating qualities.” Jacquelyn Jenson graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Ecology from College of the Atlantic in 2015. She apprenticed at Atlantic Art Glass in Ellsworth, Maine from 2015–2017. She was also the 2016 recipient of the Maine Craft Apprenticeship Program award from the Maine Arts Commission and Maine Crafts Association, where she studied extensively under master glassblower Linda Perrin.
