Awards & Achievements

Maine Craft Apprenticeship Program | 2016 Recipient

Maine Arts Commission & Maine Crafts Association

Chosen alongside master glassblower Linda Perrin to participate as one of three pairs in the inaugural year of MaineCAP. Seven months of close, technical study in glassblowing with Linda, culminating in a final exhibition at L.A. Arts in Lewiston, ME.

Davis Fund for Global and Civic Engagement | 2014 Recipient

This award allowed me to conduct ethnographic research with Impronta Culturale, a cultural organization in San Vito di Leguzzano and Italian language study in Treviso, Veneto, Italy.

Youth in Philanthropy Grant | 2011 Co-writer & Recipient

Duluth Teen Council | Planned Parenthood

Helped develop “Extending Our Branches, Strengthening Our Roots,” an annual event in its inaugural year, designed to raise money for local charities through a health fair, concert, and art auction.
